The Enzymes - Professional Use Only

Our enzymes are a safe and gentle treatment, which can be used as a light peel or as a pretreatment before a salicylic acid peel. Applying the cocoa enzyme for 5 min. after microdermabrasion leaves the skin with a “polished” radiant appearance.

Each enzyme product – Zymase, Raspberry and Chocolate - is a combination of bromelain (pineapple), papain (papaya) and trypsin (bovine derivative). Bromelain and papain are cysteine protease and trypsin is a serine protease.

• Bromelain is an effective anti-inflammatory agent.
• Papain works with the sulfhydryl group and is highly effective in removing the keratin.
• Trypsin attacks proteins that contain amino acids.
• With these three enzymes working together to attack different parts of the keratin molecule,
  they produce very effective results.
• Raspberry-Anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, tyrosinase inhibitor.
• Cocoa-antioxidant, vaso-constrictor, soothing.

Cocoa Enzyme - Recommended as a rosacea treatment and/or acne treatment

This is an elegant product with soothing and calming properties. The enticing aroma of the cocoa makes it appealing as well as relaxing. Excellent for use on rosacea, inflamed acne, and sensitive skin. The Cocoa Enzyme removes keratin buildup and helps to brighten and clarify. Calms irritated or inflamed skin while it gently exfoliates. Leaves the skin with a healthy, luminous appearance.

Red Raspberry Enzyme - Recommended as an Anti-Aging Skin Care Treatment

A raspberry enhanced enzyme with the same multiple enzyme base as the Cocoa and Citrus. A light and refreshing berry scent with multiple benefits from the red raspberry. Great for use on pigmented or sun damaged skin.

Citrus Enzyme - Recommended for all skin types and general skin care

The Citrus Enzyme is appropriate for use on most skin types. It removes keratin buildup and helps brighten and clarify the skin. Powder: 4 oz. jar;  Activator: 8 oz. bottle

Dermafrost Salicylic Acid: Professional Use Only - Recommended as an Acne Treatment and an Anti-Aging Solution

This treatment has two strengths, 12.5% and 25%. Salicylic Acid has the benefits of alpha hydroxy acids but is more effective in the treatment of early to moderate photo aging.
Skin Type: For sun damaged skin (actinic keratoses), aging skin showing deep wrinkling and loss of elasticity, acne vulgaris types I & II, pigmentation abnormalities, fine wrinkles, and rough, calloused skin.
Salicylic acid is lipid-soluble, in contrast to the water-soluble AHA’s. It is less irritating and does not alter skin barrier properties. During the past ten years, formulations combining salicyclic acid with various alpha hydroxy acids have become more popular and are used for acne skin care, acne treatments, and problematic, dry, and aging skin.
Unlike AHAs that require neutralizing, salicylic acids are self-neutralizing, meaning that they are applied in one or more layers and allowed to dry. Skin exfoliation takes place within the next few days after the peel.

Treatment may be repeated up to three sessions spaced out once every four weeks. In a more sensitive skin, always use the 12.5%.

Note: When using the Dermafrost 25% do not apply more than one coat.

The Alpha-Beta Peel: Professional Use Only - Recommended as an anti-aging skin care treatment

Suitable for most skin types.

Lactic Acid Peel: Professional Use Only - Recommended as an Anti-Aging Skin Care Treatment

Jessner’s Solution: Professional Use Only - Recommended as an Anti-Aging Skin Care Treatment or an Acne Skin Care Treatment Indications for Jessner’s peel: Acne Photodamaged skin and premature aging Actinic keratoses Pigment Irregularities The Jessner’s solution contains 14% Salicylic acid, 14% Lactic acid and 14% Resorcinol. Resorcinol will increase the amount of peeling experienced after a peel. Peeling is usually light to moderate and depends on the skin condition and depth of the peel.
Oxygen Rx Treatment Protocol: Professional Use Only - Recommended as an Anti-Aging Skin Care Treatment or an Acne Skin Care Treatment

Suitable for all skin types.

Skin Type: Acne, Rosacea, Sun-damaged skin, Telangiectasia.The Oxygen Rx treatment can be used on any skin type. The germicidal action makes it extremely beneficial for acne. The lightening and vaso-constricting capabilities give instant results for Rosacea. The procedure is quick, easy and pleasant. The end result is clear and luminous skin with a feeling of firmness. It can be repeated as often as once a week (oxygen only). Once every other week with enzyme treatment included.

The Philosophy behind SWiCH&trade Dermal Skin Rejuvenation System

In order to rejuvenate or remodel sun-damaged skin, physicians have practiced chemical peeling for over 40 years. Both intrinsic and extrinsic aging changes have been the object of many types of skin peeling including chemical, mechanical and thermal modalities. The common thread tying these methods together is the ability of the skin to heal itself when damaged. All of these methods produce some degree of tissue destruction, which incites the natural repair process within the skin. Consistent damage to the epidermis, however, may lead to more serious side effects. In a dermal system that is already overtaxed, the use of these agents creates a greater demand on the energy production.
